My younger self realised that time is so precious and adopted a mindset of efficiency in life and saved every second from the micro habits like eating, personal care, etc
For example, I have never eaten my meals without listening to or watching useful or cheerful content because time was for me to learn or to socialise and dance with good music 🤓
Strangely, I see that I still have that mindset even if they don’t give me joy of learning or entertaining me whatsoever 🙂↔️.
Everyone says that no one should watch the screen while eating. Yes, but not no one, but people who don’t have self-discipline 🤨. That’s why they say babies should not eat while they are in front of a screen because they are barely aware of anything, it’d be a crime to do that 😂.
Nonetheless, my system is clear af: I’ve been eating to heal for almost 4 years now (3.5 years before that, I wasn’t interfering with my nutrition :)). Therefore, I get to focus on every bite I eat, even though the screen is on, and no matter where I left the content on the screen, it must go off when the meal is finished.
That’s the case with my present self but my younger self had a more hedonistic approach 🤭: He was picky af and mostly ate delicious meat, pastry and desserts( don’t get any weird ideas here I am not encouraging you to do this, just letting you know that nobody’s perfect;). Hence he was a consumerist if he was watching something while he ate and he usually chose to watch comedies for convenience, they’re short and don’t require attention 🤷🏼♂️🤣.
Where did all this come to my mind? I subscribed to Disney+ for a change, and I go back to watching the same convenient shows that I was watching in 2012-16 :
HIMYM
The New Girl
Don’t Trust the B—- In Apartment 23
A couple of more
- Why do you think that shows are still in demand and popular 🤭?
