I have been thinking about this topic since I woke up from a coma: How can a physically, socially, and emotionally inactive body and brain produce serotonin to survive?
When you read the answer, you might say something like “ p**s off !” Nonetheless, I have experienced this every day for the last seven years: meant to be!
Laughing has always been my signature trait, and I was unable to do it for some time. Okay, that was understandable, but I had to frown instead of a neutral face 🙂↔️. I have known the benefits of laughter and thought about how a brain that can’t produce sufficient neurochemicals could heal itself.
I got rid of that thinking as soon as I realised that the divine gifts and blessings (most people say they achieve it through therapy, and yes, I did work hard to receive the gift, but who would believe that I didn’t work with any professional physical therapist for more than a year?). I worked with them for about six years (thank you for your help), and then I realised that I had already learned a lot about spasticity, and that the exercises are pretty much limited, so thankfully I can do them myself.
Anyway, that was not the topic 🤭.

I’m grateful for medical discoveries, assuming they are true, oc😇.
Can you see how I was complaining about the relationship between serotonin and depression for nothing?!
My recovery is proof of that discovery. However, I’m still confused about its validity because the lack of serotonin should lead to low mood, and the prolonged lack of serotonin should have caused depression, right?
I don’t wanna justify the argument that ignorance is bliss, so help anyone?🙏🏻😂
Nevertheless I am genuinely grateful for the blessings and support. ♥️
