How has technology changed your job?
I believe I was already ahead of my job when I was working actively, and it’s both great and weird to see my visions for my profession come true 🙄♥️.
I chose the path to become a CFO, and I was on track until I literally peaked in my career at 24. The GL Accountant position was easy; actually, I was thinking about writing an email to the accounting software company about how we can automate certain tasks, because there was a lot of repetitive manual bookkeeping in the job, which was a waste of precious time. I have thought that my next step should be to become a finance analyst, since they work closely with CFOs, but I believe the workflow is about to change with the implementation of AI in the workforce.
Considering that AI that secretly mines crypto while serving humans in other tasks cannot be trusted, security, privacy, and ethics would be valuable in the workforce 🤷🏼♂️🙄.
On the other hand, I might switch to an entirely different field in professional life. Right now, I have to figure out what I desire first 🤫
Btw, I think the technology is close to making certain industries obsolete. Therefore, I urge you to be on the good side of history while it’s being written in real time ♥️😇
Any industry that doesn’t serve the greatest good of humanity needs to be abolished🙏🏻
Can you name one of them?
