What does freedom mean to you?
I’m happy to see this prompt come up 🤞
Freedom is a highly subjective term, and it’s sad to see that the modern world is polarised when we try to identify the word🤔
I like to simplify our lives because I experienced how babies live after tbi, and I said to myself that “ it’s both scary and fascinating how magical our bodies work in harmony 🤓♥️
I wouldn’t wish any adult to experience tbi so I am skipping the “picture this “ part.
Human beings sleep, drink, eat, move, learn, speak, hopefully listen 🤣, believe in themselves and a higher power, physical and emotional affection and reproduce everything in between
Even if you were the king of the world, your life can be summarised as that 🤭
Hence freedom :
- You shouldn’t have to worry about accommodation, clean drinking water and food
- You are free in your mind and body
- Someone is not trying to manipulate you every day, and even if they do, you’re free to shush them 😝
- You can access the education you prefer to attend online and offline
- You can make your voice heard freely 🤔
Freedom 101 obviously 👆🏼👆🏼👆🏼
The situation is much more complicated in the “modern “ world than that!!!
- Modern slavery
- Women who are forced into prostitution
- Kids who are forced to beg
- Older people who have to live a sedentary life because of how society works
- …
Maybe we should think about our precious freedom for all, then we can use all the fancy words to describe what freedom means to us 😒🤷🏼♂️
