“Do not watch Turkish content!”
I read news about the success of Turkish series globally, and I was curious, so I asked my younger cousin (who is like a sister to me:) for her suggestions.
The purpose of my idea is that everyone complains about how long the Turkish series is, and I saw this as an opportunity:
The stories are usually a mix of romantic comedy and drama, so they indeed have long, staring, intense moments that make the episode long enough to be classified as a movie 😅.
Honestly, I think Turkish actors and actresses usually have world-class natural beauty and charm, so they make long watch time unimportant 🤷🏼♂️.
My idea for my rehabilitation has three-fold
- I eliminate the confusion of what to watch while eating because I put on an episode and watch it on and off all day
- It doesn’t bore me when I stand still for digestion time
- I would be hearing my mother tongue and seeing the gestures and mimicry all day
I finished watching Aile last month and am watching Sen Cal Kapimi nowadays
And I wouldn’t recommend that emotionally immature people watch them 😳🤷🏼♂️
